Introduction Much advanced research has been conducted recently on the interaction between electron and coherent radiations (Kapitza-Dirac effect, free- electron laser,….) Electron interacting with two counter-propagating coherent radiations is the common model Nonrelativistic electron interacting with coherent wave is governed by Lorentz force equation One of the valuable problem is to unlock the energy change of the electron

Summary The application of axial electric field causes to the trapping of the electron. The theoretical calculations are found to be consistent with experimental measurements. The mechanism relies on nonlinear interaction which causes the phase bunching that due to the breaking of uniform distribution of electron energy. Classical electrodynamics can well explained the interaction of free-electron with coherent radiations.
