5. Process Groups These groups are organised by the kind of work you are doing.

6. Knowledge areas Help you arrange tasks according to the subject matter you are dealing with

7. Knowledge areas Scope Cost Human Resources Risk Procurement Communications Quality Time & Integration

8. The cookie project can be organized in either way. By process groups where the focus is on the stages or flow of the work OR By knowledge areas where you focus on the facts or detail of the task.

9. The two different ways Process groups and knowledge areas do not really overlap each other! Don’t get confused and caught up in trying to make them fit together.
