2. What does body position have on breathing?

3. Introduction I wanted to know which breathing method (hands on the knees, or hand behind the head). I heard from all my coaches to put your head. I really want to see which is better. I think it will be fun and interesting to find out. I will use the method that works best in basketball practice.

4. Background Info. Breathing keeps us alive. People usually said that putting your hands on your knees to breathe but its actually better to put yours hands over your head.

7. Procedure Gather materials Go to Ora shields Blow in the balloons Let them run 2 down back down Blow in the balloon

10. Conclusion My hypothesis was correct. Hands over the head is the best method for right now. What about in ten years? Will it still be the best? I’ll follow up on it.

11. Major Observation It took faster to blow up the balloon when they were standing than it did when they were on their knees.

12. Possible Causes of Error Some of the people I don’t they took it seriously. I might have not measure all the balloons together.

13. Further Research I could probably make them run longer than a gym.

14. Time Spent I spent a couple days testing and a week measuring.
