MAJOR THEMES IN THINGS FALL APART
The central idea or the central message in a story. MAJOR THEMES IN THINGS FALL APART A well-balanced person – or a well balanced culture – requires the growth and development of both “male” and “female” virtues: for example, discipline & moderation, judgment & compassion, science & art, stubbornness & flexibility. The one who violates his or her own conscience must always pay a price, in one way or another. The only thing that is certain in this world is change. Eventually all things must pass. Revenge does not necessarily bring about justice. Fear plays a major role in people’s decisions. No one has the right to impose his or her beliefs on another.
