7. Budding  A miniature version of an organism grows off of the adult organism and eventually falls off and is genetically identical to the parent  There is an unequal distribution of cytoplasm  Hydra’s do this  yeast

8. Vegetative propagation  When part of a plant is cut off and new roots form.  The new plant is genetically identical

9. Regeneration  When a piece of an organism can grow into a new whole organisms  Starfish or sea stars do this
