4 Learning Objectives Upon completion of this training, you will be able to :  Explain the new observation model and what it means to you  Navigate through the new observation tool  Describe where to go in Schoolnet to see your caseload, enter an observation and review existing observations.  Describe the caseload assignment process and how to request adjustments if necessary

Teachers will be notified in August if they are scheduled for peer observation in an email from the LEAP Operations team.

6 How would you handle this situation? Teacher is in the Non Probationary 1 category and is not assigned Peer Observers. They stop you in the hall and ask if you could complete the peer observation.

8 What happens to a teacher who is placed on remediation during the LEAP 12/13 school year?

9 In all likelihood all remediation teachers will remain in LEAP this year and all the details are currently being worked out. Stay tuned.

19 Once we get through this deck we would like to give you a chance to play in the training environment. The environment will NOT look exactly the same as we have just discussed but the entering of the Observation Functionality will.

20 Caseload Assignments: What and When to Expect Goal is to distribute your caseload assignments by August 22 nd. ( : date may be delayed) Caseloads will be loaded into Schoolnet on September 10 th when the tool goes live. Use our spreadsheet to make sure your caseload matches. Once you receive your caseload assignment file, review it and if you need to request changes, work with your PO directors. If changes are required, the Ops Team needs to be notified, so we can upload the changes into Schoolnet and update the Principal’s spreadsheet. 48 hour turnaround please) PO Directors will receive a weekly caseload progress report.
