1 Irish Civil War The Irish Civil War took June 28 1922-May 24 1923 it was a conflict that accompanied the establishment of the Irish Free State.

2 Involvement  It was a war between the two opposing groups of Irish Nationalists the forces of the Provisional government that established the free state in December 22 1922, Against the Irish Republican.

3 The winner  The winner was the Provisional government who supported free state. The Civil war may have claimed more lives then the war of independence against Britain.

4 Soldiers killed in the war.  800 Irish army men were killed, 12,000 prisoners taken by the Provisional Government.
