1. Irish Civil War The Irish Civil War took June 28 1922-May 24 1923 it was a conflict that accompanied the establishment of the Irish Free State.

2. Involvement  It was a war between the two opposing groups of Irish Nationalists the forces of the Provisional government that established the free state in December 22 1922, Against the Irish Republican.

3. The winner  The winner was the Provisional government who supported free state. The Civil war may have claimed more lives then the war of independence against Britain.
