8. The source of His teaching, “I do not communicate from the source of Myself.” Emphasizing His humanity.

9. The Teacher had to receive the doctrine just as everyone else does - GAP. John 3:11; 5:19, 30; 7:16- 18; 8:26-28.

10. Principle: You can’t communicate doctrine to others until you have GAPed it yourself.

11. “But the Father abiding in Me does His work”. The ultimate source of Bible doctrine is God the Father.

12. “Abiding in Me” - MENO. This is the precedence for the Church Age believer. Having both the indwelling of the Father and His Word resident within your soul by means of the GAP.

13. “Does His works” – POIEO AUTO ERGON. God the Father taught the humanity of God the Son, which tells us of the Father’s works for mankind.

14. “His works” = Bible Doctrine. “His Doctrine”, that tells us of His works.

15. Vs. 11, the Imperative of PISTEUO twice = “Believe”, is designed to break up the log jam in Philip’s soul so that he can transfer doctrine for application.
