RECORDING OPSEC TRAINING

General AF has stressed OPSEC is required for all members – We have had problems with members releasing sensitive information to people who did not have a valid “need to know” – Critical requirement for AFNORTH missions Training can be done online, in classroom or via individual briefing – After completing training members have access to eServices and WMIRS Recording completion is automatic when training is done online

General Training must be manually recorded when done in classroom or individual briefing format – Individual briefing format is ideal for legislative members – It’s very easy to do in Ops Quals – Unit CC, or people they designate in eServices, can record completion of training

Recording OPSEC Training Step 1: Give OPSEC briefing. Complete NDA and have member sign acknowledgement. Blocked

Recording OPSEC Training Step 2: In Ops Quals select “Emergency Services” and enter CAPID for member who was briefed. Blocked

Recording OPSEC Training Step 3: Select “Single-Person Achievement” and “OPS-OPSEC” for Functional Area. Then select “Edit” Blocked

Recording OPSEC Training Step 4: Enter data and then select “Update”. OPSEC training has now been recorded. Blocked
