The GIST GIST: If the project is replicated on a statewide level, then it could a) Transform urban and semi urban transport b) Connect every panchayat headquarter of Rajasthan with the tehsil headquarter by formal transport ( no state in India has yet achieved this) c) Not cost the government a single rupee in expenditure ( infact provide government a steady revenue stream) d) Be deployed throughout Rajasthan in less than 6 months e) Provide new employment to lakhs of youth f) Boost trade and agricultural linkages between urban and rural areas g) Be a highly visible and moving symbol of a successful government programme.
