3. Problem Statement  More cargo space needed than what is provided on the back of the ATV especially when hunting  Often cumbersome to carry a trailer behind an ATV  Existing products are not collapsible or easily portable

4. Problem Solution  Design a collapsible carrier that fits on the back of an ATV  Must be unobtrusive when not used, but can be deployed as needed  Support additional weight of the cargo, specifically, the average weight of a deer  Functional on rough terrain

Selected Design (cont) Pros  Rigid Construction – capable of supporting heavy loads (10 point buck)  Expandable Base – capable of supporting a wide range of cargo  Compact Construction – small footprint  Easy to deploy – 4 adjustments  Easy to load – pivoting main body allows for easy loading of large game Cons  Not easy to support small or flexible loads  A relatively large load may be needed to secure hook arms
