2. In 1900 women were treated like 2 nd class citizens! NOT ALLOWED  They were NOT ALLOWED to vote  They were supposed to be at home – looking after their children & husbands! POORLY PAID LIMITED The jobs women were allowed were POORLY PAID and LIMITED to things like nannies and servants

3. However a group called the SUFFRAGETTES were determined to change this  They aimed to win change for women by first winning the right to vote
