Background on bank’s history in microfinance (particularly if the bank had a microfinance program prior to participation in MABS) b. MFU organization and management structure c. Lending policies and procedures d. Performance of the Microfinance Operations e. Problems encountered and lessons learned f. Future Plans

Standard Toolkit for Learning Centers: Hosting Guide 1 – Senior Management Orientation ACTIVITIES: Preparations for Client Visits Select at least 5 microfinance clients to visit. In selecting clients, include individuals who engage in diverse enterprises and select some clients who have been clients for a longer period of time. Prepare a summary or background information on the clients to be visited to share with visitors. Brief Account Officers who will accompany visitors on client visits.

Ensure that bank officers and microfinance personnel are present for this briefing to listen and to respond.
