«O’ZBEKISTON SHAMPANI» Joint-Stock Company Distillery founded in 1942

LOCATION 1. Description of available area «O’ZBEKISTON SHAMPANI» JSC is located in private production spaces within the boundaries of Tashkent City in Yashnabad District. Total area of the distillery's territory is 5,3 hectares. Thereof 2,5 hectares were assigned for production build-ups. Production territory includes: - wine material workshop; - champagne bottling and design workshop; - still wine bottling and design workshop; - workshop of champagne finished products; - workshop of still wine finished products; - vodka and liqueur-vodka products bottling workshop; - liqueur-vodka products blending workshop and alcohol depository; - finished products warehouse; -glass container workshop; -boiler house; -administrative building. All buildings and erections are provided by driveways with hard surface. Empty premises are let on lease, territory of the distillery is well-furnished and landscaped. 2. Energy resources supply For the purpose of energy supply the Company obtains electric energy and water from city system. Total annual energy-requirement of the Company is 1225 thousand kw/hour. Water requirement is 650 cubic meters per day. Power supply is conducted through "Parkentskaya novaya" sub-station 1 and 2 s.sh. with voltage of supply mains of 10 kilovolt. Calculated power of collectors on the Company is 450 kW.

About us Uzbekistan is an amazing land, one of the ancient centers of viniculture. Natural conditions here are favourable to growing of all wine varieties from very early to very late ones, as well as obtaining of high-quality sorts of dried products and various types of wines including champagne. Nowadays a distillery of «O’ZBEKISTON SHAMPANI» is located in the territory of a former country estate of the Russian merchant Popov who was the first to begin producing sparkling wine. Uzbek champagne wasn't produced formerly. It began being produced since 1942. Products of Tashkent champagne distillery (nowadays «O’ZBEKISTON SHAMPANI» JSC) very soon became well-known, being to liking of most exquisite connoisseurs of champagne. In 1942 on the base of tests made on study of technical sorts of vine used for production of wine in different ecological areas of Uzbekistan, the specialists had proved a potentialities of producing champagne in Uzbekistan. On the base of Order № 479 к- ПО of the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on management of the state property and support of entrepreneurship dated 12.08.1996, "Tashkentskiy zavod shampanskih vin" (Tashkent champagne distillery) was reorganized into «O’ZBEKISTON SHAMPANI» Open Joint-stock Company.

THE FOUNDERS The extraordinary meeting of shareholders dated 06.08.2014 made a resolution of changing an organizational legal form for «O’ZBEKISTON SHAMPANI» Joint-stock Company. The authorized fund of the Company is 1 352 456 thousand UZS divided into 338114 shares as follows: "Uzvinpromholding" Private Enterprise - 51.0% or 689 752 thousand UZS Share of work collective - 1,98% or 27 776 thousand UZS Agro Mega Group JV LLC - 46.07% or 623 088 thousand UZS Free sale - 0.95% or 12 840 thousand UZS Assets being offered to foreign investors - 15%

Old, historically laid up winegrowing areas like are successfully used - foothill zones of Samarkand, Tashkent and Namangan regions and local sorts of grapes. Wine materials entitled to be named as champagne are produced here, which also have maximal yield and utmost output of a high-quality must. In addition to champagne and sparkling wines «O’ZBEKISTON SHAMPANI» Joint-stock Company produces also a great variety of "still" wines, as well as strong alcohol drinks - vodka. All domestic conditions have been created in the Company for the staff. The Joint-stock Company owns a separate estate, has an independent balance and runs on the base of full self-supporting. The company is a legal entity, holds letter-heads, a round seal and stamps with company name, a trade mark (symbolics), settlement and other accounts in local and foreign currency in banks. «O’ZBEKISTON SHAMPANI» JSC is registered in the local agency of the State nature protection Committee. The Joint-stock company is entitled to a foreign economic activity. «O’ZBEKISTON SHAMPANI» JSC possesses all the necessary engineering infrastructure.

In the Company there are a champagne bottling and design workshop, a wine-materials processing workshop with liqueur section, a workshop of production and bottling of still wines, a production laboratory, ABK, the warehouses for the finished products and raw materials. This year in the material warehouse with area of 900 sq.m. was reconstructed as a vodka production department. It includes a glass container workshop, vodka and liqueur-vodka products bottling and design workshop and finished products workshop. The three-storied alcohol depository and blending workshop for vodka-making were built with total area of 400 sq.m. Suppliers of basic raw material are wine stations located in Tashkent region, Samarkand, Namangan and other regions of our Republic which produce wine materials for champagne-production. The Company has arranged a close contact with suppliers of raw and basic materials, as the distillery is a single and specialized distillery on production of champagne, sparkling and aerated wines. In November of 2007 the Company registered a Certificate of Conformity ISO 9001 in the State register under №UZ. AMT.05 MAI 004 which confirms "quality management system applied to production of champagne, sparkling, dry special and table wines, as well as aerated wine drinks" about conformity with the requirements of 9001:2002 (ISO 9001 2000). It is renewed upon the expiration.

ANALYSIS OF CONSUMERS MARKET OF PRODUCTS MANUFACTURED BY «O’ZBEKISTON SHAMPANI» JSC 1. All consumers are located in Tashkent City and all regions of the Republic. 2. Demand for products according to selling practice of preceding years is stable and has a seasonal nature. 3. Market saturation - 70%. 4. Stability of demand - seasonal. 5. Purchase process - via wholesale depots. 6. Competition intensity and acuity - average. In the global rating of the World Health Organization on level of alcohol consumption for the year of 2014 (Global Status Report on Alcohol and Health 2014) Uzbekistan took the 131th place. According to the report, alcohol consumption in the Republic is 3.5 liters a year per head. Uzbekistan takes up position between El Salvador (3.61 liters) and Papua New Guinea (3.49 liters).

GUIDELINES OF ACTIVITY Guidelines of activity according to the Charter of the Company: production of competitive champagne and other beverages of much demand; attraction of money for introduction of progressive technologies and production lines ; conduction of technical modernization and automation of the whole manufacture cycle of finished product; earning profit and using it for development of the production and solution of social-economic tasks of the Company.
