2 Changing your mind… BELL RINGER: Have you ever made a decision you wish you hadn’t? Describe a situation where you made a decision that you would like to change. How would you have acted differently and what do you think would have been the result?

3 Example: “When I was in 5 th grade I was mad at my brother when we were playing football. I took the football and threw it as hard as I could. The football missed my brother and went through our kitchen window. I was grounded for 3 weeks and had to mow grass until I could pay for a new window. If I had it to do all over again I would have just walked away. Then I would have a lot more money now.”

4 Decision Making Model Using a step-by-step decision-making process helps us to make more deliberate, thoughtful decisions by organizing important information and defining our choices. This approach allows us to feel more confident in our decisions THINK BEFORE YOU ACT!
