Thank you for coming! We are thrilled to begin this exciting journey with you and your children! We wanted to meet briefly tonight to review expectations and requirements.

Everything is online! http://mmossresgmsd.weebly.com Email: RaiderTheater@gmail.com

We will communicate with you through e-mail and through our website. Please check it often! We will have committee chairs with their contact information on the website. Please direct your questions to the Committee Chairs. If you have questions, please feel free to e-mail one of the play sponsors. However, PLEASE remember that we are teachers first and foremost. We may not have a chance to check email and respond the same day. We also get a TON of e- mails, so please keep this in mind!

Financial Obligations Each cast member is required to pay the $75 tuition fee. This money is due by December 12. You can send it to your child’s homeroom teacher in an envelope marked, “Mrs. Moss.” Please do not bring money to the rehearsals.
6
Ads Each family is required to sell $50 worth of ads. We will let you know when the deadline for the ads
7
Committees We can’t do it without you! This is a HUGE undertaking, and without parents, this is impossible! You will receive communication by the end of next week as to what committee you are on.

From Our Director GOOD ATTITUDES! NO COMPLAINING!!! Always bring a pencil. Singers may want to bring a small battery powered recorder to music rehearsals Be prepared for rehearsals- look at the calendar beforehand and then look over what we will be covering Practice in between rehearsals! (especially in this early stage when we are only rehearsing twice a week). Work on your lines and go over the music and/ or blocking we have learned in rehearsals.

Student Expectations Have an AR book at every practice Complete homework as you wait your turn Clean up all messes made Respect the adults and your fellow cast members. Sign a cell phone contract

Practices For now, we will be practicing 2 days per week. Friday 3:30-6:00 and Saturday 9:00-12:00. After Break, we will add Tuesdays and Thursdays 6:15-8:30. Please pick up your child promptly. We understand emergencies happen, but please make every effort to be here on time. If your child is sick on the day of rehearsal, please send an e-mail to: RiverdaleTheatre@gmail.comRiverdaleTheatre@gmail.com

More about Practices Not every child will be required to attend every practice. The director has scheduled small groups on certain days. This will allow us to have more productive practices. (That way we won’t have 90 kids at one practice!) The closer we get to the show, the more students will need to be at practices. The weeks leading up to the play may require your child to be at each practice. We also might have to add practices as show time approaches. We will let you know. You may send a light snack and water bottle with your child on practice days.
