Active Directory allows the Firewall to be managed via GPOs (Group Policy Objects). Common exceptions can be set (RDP, File & Print Sharing, Remote Assistance, etc). Customized port exceptions can be made with No “trusted hosts” as an option. You may create a Domain Profile vs. the Standard Profile. AD can make Standard Profile more restrictive. Windows Firewall
