2 How Did the Hot Springs Become a Park? What year was the park established? The answer is the park was established in 1916 into a National Park Why did the hot springs become a National Park? Because many people found the warm water like relaxing and attractive also spa like.

7 Some Technology Used to Protect the Hot Springs Well for public use technology is used to make sure the water is conserved. The mountains are managed by technology to make sure to preserve the hydrological systems that feeds into the springs.

8 Hot Spring’s Landforms Fact: Hot Springs National Park is 5,550 acres. Hot Springs--- A hot spring is a spring of water that is in a stream current, which the park is named after. Mountain--- A mountain is a place where two big parts of land collided and have smashed together and made what we call a mountain. 11 How the Hot Springs Were Formed Why was the water warm to make the “hot springs” form? The reason the water was like that is because the water sinks and the compression and natural heat warms the water when it rises again a bit like the convection current.
