3 What is Range Finding? A committee composed of Michigan social studies educators reads a sample of student papers to determine a “range” of scores for that prompt: 0-3 points for 6 th grade assessment 0-4 points for 9th grade assessment 0-5 points for 11 th (mme) grade assessment
