2  Besides the fact that the answer is in the name, Frog legs are well known delicacies of French and Cantonese cuisine.  They are also very popular in south Asia, the pacific, and the southern states of the US.

3  “They taste like Chicken” is usually the best answer to give someone when describing frog legs.  It does have a mild chicken flavor to it with a slight fish taste.  Plus they are rich in protein, Omega 3, and Potassium!

4  Approx. 40 million dollar market each year.  Top importers include France and the US.  And is estimated that approximately 3.2 Billion(yes that’s with a B) frog legs are eaten each year!

5  French Cuisine- the upper hind leg is served; usually breaded and fried.  Chinese- stir fried with mixed spices, as well as stewed or fried.

6  Use Bullfrogs and Leopard Frogs  Western US is actually encouraged to hunt them to control the population.  Popular Cooking methods include frying and grilling.
