“R APUNZEL ” V OCABULARY
2
RAPUNZEL “This species was once widely grown in Europe for its leaves, which were used like spinach, and its parsnip-like root, which was used like a radish. The Brothers Grimm's tale Rapunzel took its name from this plant.”
3
FRAU “In German, Frau (literally, "woman" or "Mrs.") was traditionally used as a title for married women, as opposed to Fräulein for unmarried women. It can be used with the first name or last name (Frau Anna or Frau Schmidt, the former is informal while the latter rather formal).”
