Teks 11 (A) identify the effects of population growth and distribution and predict future effects on the physical environment; and (B) trace the development of the conservation of natural resources, including the establishment of the National Park System and efforts of private nonprofit organizations

Population Growth of Florida and the effects on the physical environment ? Today, 900 people move to Florida daily; 39 million people vacation here some years; 12 million come in winter's dry season as water supplies naturally drop. Florida's daily population increase of 900 residents creates new demands to supply 200,000 more gallons of freshwater every day. Added square miles of building and paving reduce rainwater penetration into aquifers, the water-bearing layers below ground that store water that wells may tap. When freshwater supplies go way down, however, saltwater can intrude, with dire consequences both for water supplies and the ability of soils to grow plants. Humans, of course, cannot drink saltwater, and it can destroy plumbing appliances.

What is conservation of natural resources ? Natural Resources Conservation is a partnership effort to help people conserve, maintain, and improve our natural resources and environment.

What are natural resources ? It is a material source of wealth, such as timber, fresh water, or a mineral deposit, that occurs in a natural state and has economic value.

What is the national park system ? Throughout the Nation, people are working to conserve natural resources, protect historic sites, and to provide recreational opportunities for a growing population. So the national park system was introduced to do that U can find national parks in almost every state

What are some non profit organizations involved in conservation? One conservation group works to conserve the national wildlife it is called the national wildlife federation it works to protect different kinds of species found in the country that are either endangered or at threat of being extinct.
