3.  A hunting dog bred in Germany.  Originally, they were bred to hunt large game, i.e., bear, deer and boars.  They are strong, athletic and hardworking.  Weimaraners are now mostly used as small game hunters due to their natural ability to “point”, and they also make excellent family pets.

5. Weimaraners will be 23 to 27 inches and 75-80 lbs full grown.

10. Taking care of a Weimaraner:  Brush their teeth daily.  Bathe them every week, with frequent brushings in between.  Clip their nails weekly.  Exercise, exercise, exercise them!

11. Weimaraners need lots of exercise and fresh, outdoor air.

12. Weimaraners are fairly low- maintenance to groom, including brushing all those teeth!
