Rotation The spinning of Earth’s axis is called rotation It takes 24 hours for Earth to rotate once. Rotation causes day and night

Revolution Earth’s revolution is the movement of Earth around the sun.

Revolution One complete rotation take 365 days (1 year) – Actually 365 days, 6 hours, 45 minutes, and 48 seconds to rotate the sun – Every four years we make up for missed time with Leap year!
