4 Laser Safety System and other news Laser Safety System installation has been completed Inspection by Ted Fieguth today SOP will be approved today (I hope) ELS laser (pump for source) has been ordered Delivery is due end of June

5 Laser development work plan Install MIRA and MILLENIA to room 105 Test 3 MHz Pockel’s cell ELS laser will be shipped to KM Labs to aid in Ti:Sapphire amplifier development –so far 200 kHz regenerative amplifier (non cryogenic) at ~ 5  J with 10 W pump; limitation is Pockels cell ELS laser will be shipped to SLAC and (budget dependent) amplifier will be purchased KM Labs is planning to apply for SBIR phase II
