4 What is an AUP?  An AUP is a written agreement in the form of guidelines, signed by students, their parents, and their teachers outlining the terms and conditions of Internet use-rules of online behavior and access privileges. (Virginia Department of Education, n.d.)

8 COPPA?  As students move into high school and past the age of thirteen, they have the power to decide what information they want to release; and COPPA no longer applies. So, how can students protect themselves?
