What is an ICT4SIDS Pilot Project Focus is on “Digital Hubs” as centers of activity  Can operate at rural, regional and national levels :  can be virtual (just a Portal), physical (building), or both  can provide the following SDG related services  Telemedicine  ICT Education for High School Teachers  Disaster Management Service  Business Intelligence (BI) Service  E-agriculture (SDG Goal2)  Eservices for Food Safety  Fishery Distribution (Supply Chain)  Tourism Services The hubs can be interconnected with each other for economic growth and high impact Examples: eSeva in India, Digital Centers in Africa, Community Centers by Faith-based organizations Rural Regional National
