3. Lets find out about this poppy. Mark Stonelake. Marks story begins way back in 2006 dating Donna. Mark served as a gunner in the 29 regiment royal artillery. At this regiment, troops were trained to be specialists in all sorts of terrain. While Donna was in the navy, Mark was in the army. Two years later Mark was deployed in Afghanistan. Tragically Mark was blown up by a road side bomb. He had only 20% chance of surviving.

4. Luckily he survived and married Donna. “The Royal British Legion is my personal favourite charity, and the people at the Legion down in Devon helped me while I was recovering, and I know that help will continue, should myself or my family need it in the future”. Mark Stonelake
