The cheetah has amazing eyesight and can see up to 3 miles away. Its weird how a cheetah can’t roar even though it is from the wild cat family. Instead they make chirping sounds. Their body is almost covered with spots all over. How does it do it running at speeds of 60 to 70 mph? A cheetah’s tail helps it keep its balance while running. A cheetah has to stop for half an hour to catch its breath. A cheetah may look like a big cat, but its actually the smallest wild cat. Most members of the wild cat family hunt at night but the cheetah hunts during the day. 2
