1. Void and Voidable Agreement Voidable Agreement : An agreement which is not enforceable by law at the option of the one or more of the parties thereto, but not at the option of the other or others, is a voidable contract.

2. Void and Voidable Agreement Example : Asif coerces Bilu entering into a contract for the sale of Bilu’s house to him. This contract can be voidable by Bilu. Asif cannt enforce the contract. But Bilu, if he desires, can enforce it against asif.

3. Void and Voidable Agreement Void Agreement : An agreement which is not enforceable by law is called void agreement. A void agreement has no lawful effect and it does not confer any right to parties to it.

4. Void and Voidable Agreement Example : An agreement entered into by minor, agreement made without consideration, agreement made against public policy etc.

5. Void and Voidable Agreement Unenforceable Agreement : An agreement which cannot be enforceable in the court of law because of technical defects are called unenforceable agreements. Example : Agreements which is made without registration or non-payment of necessary stamp duty.

6. Void and Voidable Agreement Illegal agreement : An agreement which is made against the law in force in Bangladesh. Example: An agreement made for performing a murder or robbery, is an illegal agreement.

7. Void and Voidable Agreement Valid Contract : An agreement that fulfils the essential elements of a contract and becomes lawfully enforceable, is called a valid contract and parties to a valid contract violating obligation become subject to legal action.
