2. P URPOSE OF THE R EPORT  The purpose of this report identifies assigned overrides.  It allows the user to see who assigned the override and whether the override was assigned by specific CRN or a more generic course override  The user can then identify used and unused overrides.

3. A SSIGNING (OV) O VERRIDE C LEARANCES  There are two ways override clearances are issued to students  An administrative assistant assigns an OV clearance to a student’s record using SFASRPO - Student Registration Permit-Override form  OVs may be deleted if it is determined the student no longer needs it or if s/he becomes ineligible…  A primary faculty member logs into his/her Faculty Services menu (web4u account) and issues an OV clearance to a student  Faculty are unable to remove a clearance once issued and need to contact the Administrative Assistant for help in removing one.

4. OV R EGISTRATION P ERMITS  There are four types of clearances

5. O VERRIDE T YPES  OVs may be issued by CRN or by subject and course number  CRN OVs allow a student to register for the specific section  Course OVs allow a student to register for any section of the course Course OV CRN OV

6. U NDERSTANDING THE R EPORT !  The report contains only students who were issued an OV  Under each section of the course:  You will see students who used an OV and the type of OV  Unused CRN OVs  A summary of enrollment—Titled: All qualifying CRNs for course

7. U NDERSTANDING THE R EPORT - S UMMARY  At the end of the specific CRNs, a section, titled: ‘All qualifying CRNs for course’ will summarize the details of the course and include OVs issued by course
