WP 2 Hinterland Potential Development - broad variety of potentials found - risks of decline visible and understandable - good basic found for potential development Some duties for home-work: -discover/select more unique selling positions -structuring indicators for key potentials including financial framework for implementation -Consideration of initialising investments and economic activities (impacts – contribution from Karelia!!) -more encoragement to combine old (traditional) and new potentials HINTERLAND 3. WP 3 Hinterland – Vorderlasnd linkages - Access to Vorderland difficult because of lack of interest -Reduction of spatial range for HINTERLAND potentials Some duties for home-work - mobilsing more and new information channels to Vorderlands - mobilising people to become HINTERRLAND ambassadors and messengers (commuters, SME working in Vorderland) -encouraging people to visit HINTERLAND as tourists, but not only as tourists -strengthen ancient and recent relations (no Vorderland without HINTERLAND -mentioning HINTERLAND‘S contribution for Vorderland (Wonderland) HINTERLAND 3. WP 4 Hinterland regional-forsight - Hinterland REGIONAL FORESIGHT as a modern development tool to manage change recognised -Regional foresight as way to upgrade HINTERLAN D project activities Some duties for home-work -getting used to messages relatedf to regional foresight (EU- programmes) -defining framework to start with regional foresight (schedule, budget, participants – more champions and key players) HINTERLAND 3.
