- Centre midfielder plays ball wide to either winger, the winger then crosses the ball, movement of strikers predicts the cross which is made. Strikers movement – cross over’s, 1 front post 1 back post. Type of cross used – back post, front post, cut back, driven. Quality of cross- pick of strikers and midfielder, either feet or weighted to player.

- Keep ball in side 20 by 20 square, switching ball from 1 end zone to the other when possible, making sure the ball is not forced. Movement – players movement on and off the ball, supporting the player with the ball as much as possible. Options – different options for the player with the ball, making sure the space is used and players are spread out.

- 5 passes be to made within the 10 by 10 area before the ball can be played to strikers. Strikers movement – 1 shows feet the other spins off, 1 pulls out wide and the other hits the box. Movement & options in 10 by 10 – 1 two’s, 3 rd man running, at least 2 options should be available for the player on the ball to choose from.

- When corner is crossed, defenders must be marking opposition tight and following runners. No free headers. Tight marking at all times. Man mark – height for height as much as possible. Clear lines when needed. Players positions/keeper when ball is played in.
