W AYS TO REDUCE AROUND YOUR HOME Energy Proof your home- like using compact florescent light bulbs Use cold water when you can Reduce, Reuse, and recycle Unplug things when your not using them Switch water heaters to vacation mode- this still keeps warm water just saves energy from refilling the tank Don’t drink bottled water- switch to reusable bottles Use fans instead of air conditioners

M ORE W AYS TO R EDUCE Buy organic and buy locally- that way there's less travel Don’t use plastic grocery bags- switch to the reusable shopping bags If your cars in good condition then keep it because even buying a new hybrid can affect carbon footprint by the way its built Drive less-carpool and find other ways of transportation
