To become a Physician Assistant you have to take the PA Educational Program which usually lasts 24 months. You have to take the Physician Assistant National Citifying Exam You also need to take the Physician Assistant National Recertifying Exam to become one.

Physician assistants job is preventing and treating human illness and injury by providing a broad range of health care services under the direction of a physician or surgeon. Physician assistants conduct physical exams, diagnose and treat illnesses, order and interpret tests, prescribe medications, counsel on preventive health care and may assist in surgery.

Physician Assistant gets paid an average of $96,000 in 2013 The difference between physician assistants and physicians are that physician assistants are enrolled in P.A. program for 2 to 3 years while physician enroll medical school for 8 to 11 years. There is an about 180 physician assistant programs in America.

I was hoping to get a job that requires to be in the medical field. I would personally rather be a physician that an assistant. I would probably consider this as my job when I grow up.
